Statement of Faith

New Life Girls’ Home (Canada) is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian ministry supported by various congregations, individuals, para-church agencies, associations, businesses and foundations.

• We believe in the full humanity and deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin

birth, in His sinless life, in His substitutionary atonement, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:14-18, 1Cor 5:21)

• We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third person of the Trinity, who among His

Various ministries regenerates, sanctifies, guides, heals, and empowers through His gifts all believers (1Cor 12:4-11, Gal 5:16-23, Titus 3:5)

• We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and that it is our guide for faith and practice (2Tim 3:16-17)
• We believe that all men and women are sinners and can only be justified by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph 2: 1-10)
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believer in our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor 12:12-13)
• We believe and practice the ordinances of water baptism by immersion.  Water baptism shall be administered to all who have repented of their sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt 28:19, Rom 6:3-5). The Lord’s Supper shall be observed as directed in scripture. (Luke 22:19-20, 1Cor 11:23-26)

We believe in the resurrection of all to a final judgment, eternal blessings for those who are righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked (Matt 25:31-46).
